Is it easy to upgrade?
- Yes and you keep all your data.
You will replace your files and run the web-based database upgrade script. 20 minutes more or less.
- If you are at v.4/5/6 then all your opt-in forms and cron jobs stay the same.
If you are at v.3 or earlier it is equally easy but you will need to replace your opt-in forms and cron jobs.
- New versioning: starting with v.6.5 updates within the same major version number (from 6.0 to 6.5 for example) may involve a database upgrade.
This change was necessary in order to have more frequent updates without over-inflating the version numbers.
